

Problem
Creating a user-friendly design that encourages learning and focuses on demonstrating the value of the software. The old design was unintuitive, but was helpful for creating a new system with so much medical-based functionality.
On other side in making the Medcases University panel, the challenge was transforming the existing system for the university's requirements. I also had to consider the needs of both the lecturers and the students themselves, so that the application would not be a hindrance to the transfer of knowledge and the development of doctors' skills.

Solution
Medical students have to absorb a lot of theoretical knowledge in a short period of time, but they have nowhere to test it and are afraid of patient contact. The aim is to create a virtual environment that will allow them to test themselves, practice talking to patients, and indicate which areas of their knowledge need more focus. The application is also intended to allow them to prepare for exams, tests, or in the case of Medcases University: lecturers to prepare cases and clasess in one place.

Before starting the process of changing the app, I interviewed the app developers and surveyed the target audience. The aim of my research was to understand the needs and challenges faced by medical students in order to tailor the app's operation to their learning style.
